8 HOURS OF BREWERY TOURING
A group of 8 of us went on the tour last Saturday. Dave and his crew did a great job. If you're a beer snob or a fan of anything wet this tour is suitable. There wasn't a question that wasn't answered or a beer that wasn't tasted. Great day out and we are already planning our next tour. Highly recommended. 5 starsMarc Carroll
Along with a mate of mine, we were given the tour as a Christmas present by our wives. Heading into the tour with mixed expectations, we found the tour to be a great day led by Dave himself and loved every minute of it!SQ5Nick
WHERE YOU WILL GO
Heading north out of the city, we cross the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and make our way to the Central Coast. First stop, Ekim Brewing Company. Rebelling against mass produced beer, owner Mike has set about brewing finely balanced craft beers that showcase his skill and ingenuity. Here, we explore Ekim Brewing Company’s evolving range at close quarters to learn how the magic happens.
The boys behind Six String Brewing have combined their love for music, the coast and beer to create a mecca for those who share their passions. Tasting their core range and a selection of new releases, we will grab a bite to eat from their delicious menu, enjoy lunch in the tasting bar, and maybe even get a chance to enjoy some live music.
Perhaps one of Australia’s smallest breweries, Block and Tackle is the newest beer-stop on the Beer Coaster tour. Very much a community-focused brewery, you’ll get to try their beers, check out the space, and learn what it takes to live the dream of owning your own brewery.
One of the finest brewpubs in Sydney, Flat Rock is a hidden gem on the lower North shore. With a growing reputation for traditional ales and saisons, the scale of the nano brewery certainly doesn’t limit creativity. With a bit of luck, you may even get to sample some of the famous barrel aged beers they keep hidden away downstairs.
Part of the local scene since 1927 and one of our favourite city pubs, The RAH offers a stunning array of craft beers and ciders with true local pub hospitality. Well known for its Tap Takeovers where a craft brewer gets exclusive access to their eight taps and two hand pumps, it is the perfect place to end the day.
WHEN YOU CAN GO
Number of guest per tour – This tour accommodates a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 guests (get in touch for information on larger group sizes). Your order will be confirmed once we have filled 6 seats on the tour.
SOMETIMES THINGS CHANGE – Because our tours are truly behind the scenes experiences sometimes our plans need to change to accommodate brewery operations. And sometimes we just know about beer goings on around town that are worth checking out, so we may change some parts of our tours. Whilst these changes are rare, we do reserve the right to make them. If you do have a MUST SEE beer spot, please let us know when making your booking and we’ll do all we can to make it happen.
